A Time to Be Quiet, Reflect, and Prepare for What’s Coming

Executives, Decision-Makers, and Colleagues,

As we step into a new year, I wish you and your families good health, clarity, and renewed confidence. The turn of the year is more than a date change—it is a moment to pause, reflect, and prepare for what lies ahead.

That quiet clears tension, sharpens thinking, and builds confidence for the year ahead.

And this moment belongs to all of us—whether you are a middle manager, an engineer writing algorithms, a truck driver, a CXO, a board member, or a CEO.

Confronting Reality

This is the time to be quiet and ask one honest question: What is the realism we must confront?

There is one reality we all know. We read about it. We talk about it—often with confusion.

Artificial intelligence and digitization will change every job. Not some jobs. Every job.

Director. Chairman. Middle management. Individual contributor. Confront that reality.

Some jobs will change fundamentally. Some jobs will be eliminated.

What You Must Do Now

If you are young - or even if you are not, this is the moment to act.

You must learn how your job will change, or whether it will disappear altogether. You must build self-confidence through learning.

Learn how AI can:
  • Improve productivity
  • Improve the quality of work
  • Help you think faster and better
  • Enable better decisions
  • Allow more meaningful work to be done in less time

This is not about doing more in 2026. It is about doing better work - higher quality, better judgment, better outcomes.

Sometimes growth requires a step sideways. Sometimes even a step backward. But then you move forward stronger, clearer, more capable.

Go where the work is evolving. Go where your skills will matter.

Many of you are in your 30s. You have decades ahead of you. Learn now. Master it now. Use this time well.

A Resolution for the New Year

Make one resolution as the year turns: Learn. Master the application of AI. Build confidence through competence.

Start the new year with clarity not fear. With preparation and not hope alone.
